𝐈𝐋𝐎-𝐈𝐒𝐄𝐂 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐞 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐡 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐋𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐂𝐨𝐱’𝐬 𝐁𝐚𝐳𝐚𝐫.

আন্তর্জাতিক শ্রম সংস্থা – International Labour Organization, together with the Ministry of Youth and Sports (MoYS) and the Department of Youth Development (DYD), successfully convened the 3rd Project Steering Committee (PSC) meeting of the #ISECproject project in #coxsbazar. The meeting was chaired by 𝐌𝐫. 𝐌𝐝. 𝐌𝐚𝐡𝐛𝐮𝐛-𝐔𝐥-𝐀𝐥𝐚𝐦, 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲, 𝐌𝐨𝐘𝐒, and attended by 𝐌𝐫. 𝐌𝐝. 𝐌𝐨𝐭𝐚𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐇𝐨𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐢𝐧, 𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥, 𝐃𝐘𝐃, alongside 𝐌𝐚𝐱 𝐓𝐮𝐧𝐨𝐧, 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐲 𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫, 𝐈𝐋𝐎 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐡. The session reviewed project progress, key achievements, and strategic priorities to enhance skills development and economic opportunities for women and youth in Cox’s Bazar.

A key highlight of the meeting was the discussion on the sustainability and exits strategy of the ISEC Project, focusing on strengthening government ownership and ensuring long-term impact. 𝐌𝐬 𝐑𝐮𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐤𝐚 𝐁𝐚𝐡𝐥, 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐟 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐫 of the ISEC project, shared updates on project implementation and future priorities, emphasizing partnerships that promote decent work, entrepreneurship, and inclusive economic growth. Participants reaffirmed their commitment to empowering women and young people with the skills and opportunities needed to build resilient livelihoods and contribute to sustainable development in Bangladesh. The project was funded by High Commission of Canada to Bangladesh.
